Where mornings
unfold slowly.

Table & Tales opened its doors in 2026 with a single, stubborn idea: a café should reward you for slowing down. Not for scrolling. Not for shipping. Just for being there.

The space borrows from the patience of a Kyoto kissaten and the warmth of a Bengaluru morning — reclaimed wood, soft light, handwritten menus, and ceramics made by a friend of a friend in Jaipur.

Our beans come from two estates we visit once a year. Our produce comes from the farmers' market down the road. Our kitchen wakes up before the sun does.

Dishes that
define us.

Our vintage espresso bar — the heart of Table & Tales

A Shot Worth Waiting For

Our house blend is a 70/30 Arabica-Robusta split, roasted in 4 kg batches every Tuesday and Thursday. We pull it at 9 bar, 93°C, for 28 seconds — and not a millisecond more. The crema is the colour of burnt caramel, the finish is somewhere between dark cherry and cocoa, and yes, you can taste the difference.

Ceremonial milk pour — our latte art craft

The Latte Art Tell

Every barista on our team trains for at least four months before they pour a customer's cup. The rosetta, the tulip, the swan — these aren't decoration. They're how we tell you, before the first sip, that someone cared about the one before yours.

Our signature coastal seafood linguine

A Friday-Night Kitchen

From Thursday evening, our menu shifts. Our head chef writes it down on a single sheet of kraft paper each week, and that's the only version that exists. Whatever's freshest at the market that morning — fish, greens, fruit — becomes dinner by 7pm. No substitutions, no apologies.

★★★★★
"I walked in for a coffee and stayed for three hours. The room, the music, the way the light moved across the table at 4pm — none of it felt accidental. It felt like a place that had been waiting for me."
A Guest First-time visitor
★★★★★
"The pancakes are ridiculous. Pillowy, slightly undercooked in the best way, and they change with the season. My Sunday morning has a fixed address now."
Another Guest Weekend regular
★★★★★
"It's the kind of place where you can write a long email, finish a novel, or do absolutely nothing — and nobody looks at you funny. The cold brew is the best in the city, by a margin."
A Regular Works from the corner table
★★★★★
"We have a standing reservation for our anniversary every year. The team always remembers, and the table by the window is always ours. That kind of consistency is rare."
Repeat Customers Anniversary tradition
★★★★★
"Booked the back room for a small dinner. The chef walked us through every dish, the barista played DJ, and somehow it ended up being the easiest party I've ever hosted. We'll be back."
